If you know me then you know I love fashion. I look forward to putting new outfits together - whether they're from clothes I already have or new ones! Fall is my favorite season and is, in my opinion, the best season for dressing up. You can do so much, from skirts and dresses to sweaters and jeans! Unfortunately, fall doesn't last very long, it is over before it actually even starts. The long months of winter begin with a blink of an eye. I honestly am so grateful that I can experience winter and snow, but it is so annoying having to wear big coats everywhere you go. Winter fashion SUCKS, to say the least. It all comes down to being warm rather than actually having a good fit. So, today I am going to give you guys so winter fashion inspiration. You can wear theses outfits under your big coats if you live in an area that actually experiences a cold winter or you can wear them on their own if you winter is not that cold! Outfit Idea #1 I honestly love this fit. It is perfect for those lazy days in which you just want to be comfortable, but still want to look cute. This outfit will sure to keep you warm because you will be wearing a sweatshirt under the coat! You can get jackets like this for a fairly reasonable price from Shein or Romwe, but if you are looking for a better quality jacket I have seem similar ones at Brandy Melville and Urban Outfitters. Outfit Idea #2 This idea is a little form fancier than the other, but still pretty easy to put together. I love layering pieces together in the winter because it keeps you warm, but also adds a little element to your whole fit. I personally would tweak this outfit by wear short booties (no heels for me!) or maybe some white sneakers. You can also wear a beanie instead to be more warm! I feel like this is the perfect outfit that can be found while thrifting! Outfit Idea #3 So this next outfit is kind of similar to outfit idea #2, but it's a little different because it involves a cardigan rather than a sweater. This outfit will keep you warm, but it also looks professional. I feel like you can add funky jeans with patterns or a different color to make it less formal! A tip is to wear your cardigans upside down. This is kind of hard to explain, but just flip your cardigan so the sleeves are at the bottom. It makes your cardigan look like the one in the photo! Outfit Idea #4 This outfit is great for warmer winter days. You can easily grab a mock neck long sleeve and ripped jeans and throw them on with a graphic tee on top. I absolutely love getting my graphic tees from American Eagle. You can also add a belt, just to add something else to the outfit! Outfit Idea #5 Denim jackets are my favorite. A blue denim jacket or a black one. I love them so much because you can style them in any way you want. The picture shows a sweater layered under a denim jacket, but you can also put a sweatshirt under it too! And then if you are wearing a blue denim jacket you can wear black jeans under it or vice versa. This is the only time I will wear denim on denim! I hope you guys liked this outfit ideas! You can do so much with them and adjust them to your style and accessorize them! The slideshows contains the pictures for outfits 2, 3, 4, and 5 in order.

Recently, I have been in a health kick. I have been watching vegan recipe videos like crazy, I practically bought the whole nut section at Trader Joe's! Although I am vegetarian I do not always eat the healthiest foods, junk food is a common thing at my house. After watching so many vegan recipe videos I decided to go 75% vegan. Okay let me explain this as you probably are confused at this point. I do not eat any kids of meat (no fish either!), no eggs, no milk, and no yogurt. Cheese is my weakness as it's on all my favorites foods so I still eat cheese. I figure that I as I settle into the vegan lifestyle I will also eliminate cheese. Today I am going to share with you all the recipe of vegan energy balls. These are the perfect dessert to have after a meal, they are delicious and healthy! Vegan Energy Balls Ingredients 5-6 dates

To a majority of people around the world, September entails the start of a new school year, a clean slate. However, things are going to be very different this year as many students are going to be participating in remote learning for most of the time rather than in person instruction. This year is going to be hard for everyone, no matter what, so in today's blog post I am going to share some tips for this upcoming year!
I wanted my first blog post to be an "about myself" post in which I would describe the type of content that will be published on my blog. First off, my name is Anjalee and I am from New Jersey. I love going to the beach and getting my feet wet in the ocean whenever I can. Watching the sunsets by the water is my favorite thing to do in the summer. It is extremely relaxing and also provides me with an excuse to take out my camera and start snapping pictures! I also enjoy hiking and walking the main trails in and around my area. Even though I like being outside and in nature, my time inside, at home, is very valuable to me as well. I love to read, mainly young adult books. So if you have any recommendations comment them down below! I recently have started reading a lot more since I have been at home more because of the pandemic. It has motivated me to write and just express my thoughts which is why I started a blog! Besides that, I enjoy baking and watching Netflix (my current obsession has been Selling Sunset!) in my free time! This blog will basically be a reflection of my hobbies. I will talk about book recommendations, share recipes I have recently tried, post photos from places I have been, and also will be sharing random stuff about lifestyle. I would love to incorporate some mental health awareness and advice into my blog posts as well! Thank you for reading and comment down below your current book and tv obsessions! I have put a slideshow of various pictures I have take recently! |
